From the course syllabus

You can’t always see God working while it’s happening. You see it looking back. A spiritual life map is the simple practice of laying out the events of your life and tracing the presence that was guiding you all along, and the gratitude that follows tends to surprise people.

This short course teaches the practice the way the Church has always taught it: through a story you already know. The Apostle Paul reflected on his own journey constantly, from his upbringing under Rabbi Gamaliel and his part in the stoning of Stephen, through the light on the road to Damascus, the friend who vouched for him when no one else would, the missionary years, the painful losses, and the road to Rome. Paul kept returning to that story because remembering how God had led him was how he stayed faithful to the end. By the time you finish, you will have begun to draw your own map.
