About this course
The Examined Leader is not a course about leadership trends. It is a course about the kind of person leadership requires you to become. Drawing on a forty-year conversation between Christian anthropology and organizational reality, this course gives learners a framework for building trust-based cultures, cultivating intellectual courage, and sustaining the daily practice of self-examination that makes great leadership possible. Offered through DMU's Life Long Learning Institute, it earns 0.75 NBCC CE hours and is eligible for parish and diocesan professional development credit.
Who this course is for
Catholic Counselors and Mental Health Professionals
They are asked to help clients flourish but rarely receive formation in the anthropological and virtue-based foundations of that helping.
This course earns you 0.75 NBCC CE hours and gives you something most CE programs do not: a serious conversation about what kind of person a helper needs to become in order to genuinely help others.
Also for Parish Leaders, Deacons, and Ministry Professionals; Newman Center Directors and Catholic University Chaplains; Catholic Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs.
